Data for Children Collaboration required a professionally designed report exploring the impact of COVID-19 and lockdown restrictions on children’s participation in sport.

The project involved developing a clear and engaging editorial layout that made the research and data accessible, while presenting key findings in a visually compelling and easy-to-navigate format.

The report followed the established brand guidelines of Data for Children Collaboration, while introducing a fun, childlike and approachable visual style.

The layout was designed with accessibility in mind, ensuring the report was clear, simple and easy to navigate for a wide range of readers. Children’s drawings were incorporated throughout the report, adding a personal and expressive element to the design while visually highlighting their experiences of COVID-19 and lockdown, and the impact it had on their participation in sport.

The final report was produced for physical distribution and adapted for online viewing through the Data for Children Collaboration website.
